Family Fun

Here are the girls with their cousins. Taylor practiced her reading skills with Reese and they have both been fighting over holding baby Tatum. She's 5 weeks old now and we have had so much fun having a new baby in the family again. I think my girls feel like she's a new toy or pet. Anyway, having them around makes me think again and again how blessed we are to live near our families and how much our lives have been blessed to see them so often!!

"Lock's of Love"

So, her hair turned out adorable. It seems she going to be gorgeous no matter what!!!(I'm completely unbiased) I asked her how she likes her new do; she says she loves it, but is going to start growing it out again for Locks of Love!! WOW!!!

Taylor's "Locks of Love"

Okay, so Taylor has been wanting to cut her hair for Locks of Love ever since her cousin Reagan cut her's for the same reason. She has totally been begging, wanting her her to be long enough to give "to kids that don't have any hair". We finally got the required 10 inches and her Aunt Amber cut her hair. Now, I'm not even going to lie; I was totally having chest pains and crying. I mean, I have always imagined my daughters have long beautiful locks and have been growing out their hair since birth with just trims to get rid of the dead ends. But in the end, how could I deny her such a selfless desire? I am so proud of her!!!

Kendal's New Do

Kendal wanted to get her hair cut. She wanted to do Locks of Love, but she only had a 5 inch ponytail. She then decided she wanted wait until her ponytail was the required 10 inches, but moments later decided she really needed a "trim". In the end I think we took off 3 inches and she looks adorable!! Even though her hair wasn't quite long enough, I thought it was totally sweet and adorable of her to want to give her hair to a child in need. What a sweetheart!!

Temple Square

Here we are at Temple Square in Salt Lake City Utah, along with Candy, Chris, and baby Reese. This has been a yearly tradition since we've lived in UT, and also anytime we happened to be visiting between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day!!!
